Junior Coaching


YU Junior Coaching.  To develop our most promising junior golfers, the YU now provides coaching for juniors in three categories:  The junior team squad, an intermediate squad of 12 juniors aged 13-16, and a development squad of 12 juniors aged 8-12. 

Selection is based on merit and the coaching squads are under regular review.  Whilst parents pay the majority of the coaching fees YU makes a significant contribution through sponsorship and utilising entry fees for junior competitions. Coaching is provided through the YU's partnership with Play to Par at Easingwold GC.

Any junior interested in selection for the intermediate and development squads should approach their Junior Organiser in the first instance.
