Consistency key as Booth wins Fulford Rose Bowl
As the summer events are coming to a close - York GC hosted a field of 50 players in the Ladies Fulford Rose Bowl. Max Booth triumphed with an excellent 6 under 67 with a very strong middle section playing holes 7-14 in 1 under gross. She beat Helen Kettlewell (The Oaks) and Kathryn Roberts (York) who both played excellent golf to finish on net 69. The course was in great condition and thanks to the Greenkeepers and all at York GC for an excellent day - with additional support from York Union stalwart Mike Ward and Vice President Steve Wood.
