Heworth extend lead after two more Cross Trophy events
At York Golf Club, Malton & Norton pair Steve Simpson and Mark Hoal blew away the field - winning by 4 shots with a fantastic score of 45 points on a day when most of the field failed to make par. A phenomenal performance ! It was a much closer affair at Easingwold with David Spofforth and Charlie Watling from York sneaking the win on countback (B9 24pts) from Jim Batt jr and Adam Guildford (B9 23 pts).
