Ian Waddington (commonly known as Cracker) was casually picking his tee peg up after hitting a 7 iron at the 2nd hole at York Golf club in today's Cross Trophy - only for his playing partners to inform him he had made an ace ! He was reportedly 'chuffed to bits' to make his 2nd hole in 1. Cracker, who plays off 9.4 and partner Kevin Drinkeld ended up in 29th place with 35 points, but more importantly won the fiver off their playing partners Rogerson and Brown.
