In the penultimate event of 2024 - 10 pairs of juniors played at the Oaks for the Ted Kendall trophy. Home advantage once again proved useful as Aston and Darcy Kidd produced 2 birdies each in a round of 50 points - with both players appearing on the card 9 times ! They were well clear of the rest of the field - with Morgan Smith and Harry Hemingway (Fulford) claiming the runners up spot on countback from Archie Smith and Max Moore (Sandburn Hall). Huge thanks to Oaks Captain Richard for starter duties and John Masiak - the tireless president attending yet another event to give out yet another trophy ! The Oaks as always providing excellent support to the York Union.
