Malton & Norton dominate prizes at Summer am-am 3

The winning team made 1 birdie, 25 pars and crucially no double bogeys to blow away the rest of the field with 93 points.  The experienced team of Pat and Alan Hague, Pat and Eddie Ruddock (88 points) claimed second place from Laws, Leng, Parkin and Spittlehouse who made an explosive start (12 under after 6) but couldn't maintain the pace to miss out on countback.  Andrew  Mackie, Wayne Pagdin, Steve Johnson (Forest Park) alongside Debra Mackie (Easingwold) ensured M&N didn't win all the prizes with 87 points - although Wendy Jackson, Chris Oldfield, Janet Rushworth and Joanne Farrow (Malton & Norton) claimed the fifth and final prize.

A great day, a really big field and huge thanks to all the starters and scorers and all at York for their support on the day.
