Will Adamson made 5 birdies and just two bogeys in his round of 70, while Tom Pyman made 4 birdies and an eagle also shooting 70. In the 3 hole play off - both players made par on the first, birdie on the 9th before an uncharacteristic double bogey from Pyman meant that Adamson's 4 on the par 3 18th was good enough to claim the trophy. Chris Hornby shot 72 to finish 3rd with Jamie Miller taking 4th spot with a 73. 5 players made 74 with Darren Dunning and Rob Hutton having the best back 9's to claim the final prizes. In fact the top 9 made 40 birdies and 3 eagles between them - with Nathan Wilkinson making 7 birdies including 4 on the last 4 holes. Some incredible golf although as is often the case - those making the fewest mistakes ended up at the top of the leaderboard.
Great support from the whole team at Sandburn Hall, with the course in excellent condition and the ever present President Steve Wood handing out the trophy !
