On behalf of all member Clubs and the Executive Committee, a warm welcome to the first stage of an updated York Union of Golf Clubs website.
I feel privileged and honoured to serve as your President of York Union of Golf Clubs in 2024 and thank my Club Pike Hills for this nomination.
The unprecedented rainfall over the last few months, with the closure of most courses has meant valuable revenue has been lost by both member Clubs and the Union. We are grateful in having support from our key sponsors in the past but continue to look for sponsors after the cancellation of so many Cross Trophies and loss of associated income. The addition of Union events in the summer will help both the Union and our Clubs but requires you to enter and support us.
It will be my pleasure, along with Union management team members, to accompany the Senior and Junior representative teams.
